"I'm a techie with an artist soul. That juxtaposition inspires my artistry. While I love the look and feel of film, I can't overlook the range and capabilities of the digital world. While I love the poetic nature of light in images, I also understand the physics of light and optics. So my own style marries the best of both worlds - a pursuit of technique and emotion through soulful imagery"

“It’s really important to me that my work is evocative and that when my couples view their gallery they can feel and re-live all those emotions through my imagery. If you proposed in Paris at one of your favorite restaurants, when I happen to be there, I will take a day to go photograph the exact table where you proposed for you to cherish. I'm that person, I'll do it because it's part of your story
I love capturing all the unique, meaningful details my couples dreamt up for their guests artistically with an eye towards refined and effortless elegance.”
I'm inspired by movement - dance has been in my life in some form since I was a kid. So naturally I gravitate towards creating with movement, it's poetic - and it completes that moment that was caught on film forever. there is always movement around us. It's that hair strand slightly out of place that allows you to 'feel' the wind, the curve in the fabric of your gown, or the slight blur in the smile that lets you know that her laughter was the kind you felt not just heard. It creates that feeling that you are truly looking in, you start imagining the seconds right after....and that's where the magic happens, as you complete the story from one image to another, you feel a connection.
That's why I often refer to myself as a storyteller
My goal is always to create timeless imagery. Heirlooms that flow through generations creating an everlasting bond. So that when you granddaughter or grandson is getting married, they can see that the promise of love they are ready to give has a strong legacy in the love you promised one another and perhaps most importantly, the rumors are true, you did break it down on the dance floor.
